Glen Hogard
bite down on this ephemeral stuff
until a ransom note appears in your mailbox
post-dated on office letterhead
scratch, scratch, scratch
stop, stop, stop, don’t
the wound has almost closed its eye
it doesn’t really need sleep
being dreary heals the slit enough to sell progress
try finding a new suitcase everyday
packing more than you will ever need
just in case the scene demands it
everyone knows just enough
to know someone else
